ABOUT THE PLACE

If you are looking for somewhere to stay overnight, a party room or holiday apartments in nice, rural surroundings, Kildegaard Bed & Kitchen is the place for you. With only 2 km to the beach and forest, our location is ideal for taking walks, coast fishing and swimming. In addition to this, we also rent out a cozy summerhouse on the small island Strynø.

Kildegaard Bed & Kitchen was founded in 1993, when Steffen Kildegaard decided to turn the old hayloft into a Bed & Breakfast. The business started with a wish to meet different people from the country as well as the rest of the world – we value hospitality and helpfulness.

In 2003 the old stable was turned into a party room, creating the possibility of hosting parties besides accommodation. The farm has gone through plenty of renovations throughout the years to keep it up to date, yet it still has its rural charm. One thing that has not changed is the beautiful view of the Great Belt Bridge, which is enjoyable all year round.

The rooms

6 lovely rooms

  • 2 single rooms with 2 twin beds that can be combined (2 persons)
  • 2 double rooms with ¾ beds + a single bed (3 persons)
  • 2 familyrooms with ¾ beds + bed/sleepingcouch (4 persons)

There are 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and a big living room to be shared between the 6 rooms. WiFi-access from all areas.

Garden and terrace with splendid views of the Great Belt Bridge and the sea. You make your own meals, but tea and coffee are available for free in the kitchens.

There is only 2 km to forest and beach. The beach is suitable for bathing as well as fishing.

The entire first floor can also be used as one big vacation appartment. There is sleeping accomodation for 18 people in 6 rooms.

There are 3 shared bathrooms, a smaller kitchen along with a bigger, well equipped, kitchen located in an open kitchen-dining area with dining table, sofa-groups, fireplace, and tv.

From the living room there is direct access to a 40 m² terrace with stunning views over The Great Belt. You have a first class view of one of Denmarks largests building structures, the bridge, not to mention the wonderful nature of East Funen. There is a big green area located just outside, with room for ballplay, swings and a bonfire area. If you rent the entire apartment you must bring your own linnen, or bedding can be arranged for 50 DKK pr person.

The entire first floor can be rented for a whole week or a weekend. It is ideal for a get-together with friends, family holiday etc.

It is possible to rent our large party room along with the Bed & Kitchen accomodation, see below. The entire first floor is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The Bed & Kichen can also be divided into two seperate, small appartments.

Cozy party room

The function room has furniture, tableware and space for 50 people. Kitchen and toilet facilities are included. The bar has draught beer pumps and a stereo-system. The room is rented in combination with the apartment upstairs, with beds for 18 people distributed on 6 rooms. Read more about this in vacation appartments. Plenty of parking options on the ground. Plenty of room

We have succesfully seated up to 50 people in the room. There are several ways to place the tables and chairs, giving the option for a buffet table. See the pictures for examples. The picture with the grey cloth seats around 40 people with a seperate gift table. A curtain makes it possible to seperate kitchen from the remaining room.

Covered terrace

Covered terrace in front of the party room, with direct view to the beautiful nature, garden, and the Great belt. A rich opportunity to move the party outside, when the weather is nice.

Activities

Lovely surroundings

Lovely surrounding garden and play-areas for the children. As well as the stunning views, which are mostly appreciated by the adults, swings and a jumping pillow are available. The play area is located in a safe distance from the road, so it is possible to let the children run around. If the adults wish to play along, why not share a game of football with the children.

Its wonderfull - also outside of the season

As seen on the photographs, we are located close to Storebælt where you have plenty of beach, swimming and nature facilities. Generally, the area is incredibly beautiful and offers a multitude of walking and cycling routes or the opportunity to just lay back and relax.
